Crystal Mountain
Crystal Mountain is a 2 hour trip southwest of Seattle in Washington State, near Mount Rainier. It's a popular ski resort, but also has plenty of summer recreation activities and the new "Mt Rainier Gondola".
The spectacular drive up to Crystal Mountain is along a National Scenic Byway – Highway 410. During winter the only access to Crystal Mountain is along Highway 410 East from Enumclaw. Always check road conditions before leaving.
Ski Crystal
Crystal Mountain is Washington State's largest ski area, with incredible summit views of Mt Rainier. Ski crystal from mid November to mid April.

Crystal Mtn - summer
Crystal Mountain is equally popular during the summer season (mid June to mid September), providing a range of activities including scenic chairlift rides, horse back riding, hiking and biking trails. It offers some of the best biking trails in the state including the Crystal Mtn Loop, Ranger Creek and Sun Top, and is popular with cycling clubs.
Mt Rainier - gondola
A "must-do" activity is the gondola ride up to WA’s highest restaurant the "Summit House Bistro", providing some of the best views of Mount Rainier. Get more information on the Mt Rainier Gondola.
Travel Tip: If you have more time, consider visiting either Mt Rainier - Paradise or Mt Rainier - Sunrise in the Mount Rainier National Park. Sunrise is only a short distance away (summertime only), but Paradise will require an extra 2.5 hours drive from Crystal Mt.
