Union WA
Hood Canal is home to the town of Union, with stunning views of the Olympic National Park from its shores. The Hood Canal is only one of two glacier carved fjords in the Continental United States.
The tiny town of Union on the Hood Canal, is a 2-hour trip south of Seattle in Washington State. Union is a quiet town with just 2 restaurants, and a small selection of cabins, rentals, hotels, inns and camping. The Alderbrook Resort is the most significant development.
Alderbrook Resort
After arriving in Union, have coffee or lunch at the Alderbrook Resort Restaurant and enjoy the magnificent views across the Hood Canal.
After lunch, wander outside to the marina to investigate kayaking, boat rentals, and single and tandem bicycles. Choose from diving, fishing and sightseeing tours. The nearby Alderbrook Golf Club is another option.
If you really want to treat yourself, spend an afternoon at the Resort Spa.
Robin Hood Restaurant
A great option for dinner is the historic, atmospheric Robin Hood Restaurant adjacent to a lovely creek. Alternatively you can eat at the Alderbrook Resort.

Considered one of the prettiest small town in America. There aren't many amenities in Union but if you stay for lunch or dinner you MUST stop at the Robin Hood. Don't let the outside fool you, it is one of the coziest romantic restaurants we have ever eaten at!
