La Push
La Push is a small coastal village located on the western side of the Olympic Peninsula near Forks in Washington State, 4-hours from Seattle
La Push is home to the Quileute Native American Tribe, located on the shores of the Pacific Ocean at the mouth of the Quillayute River. "First Beach" at La Push is easily accessed from a large sandy parking lot at the headland, and is famous as the location for a scene from the Twilight books and movie.
Yet the true gem is nearby Second Beach, only a five minute drive from La Push, followed by a 20-minute walk through coastal forest to the beach. Second Beach has stunning views of off-shore coastal stacks, and a long sandy beach to explore.
After exploring the beaches, don't forget to stop by the Riverside Restaurant on Main Street at La Push.
La Push Oceanside Resort
The Oceanside Resort overlooks First Beach, and offers cabins, lodging, RV sites and camping near the beach.

The beach itself is strikingSubmitted by DG01 (not verified) on Tue, 2010-07-06 20:43.
The beach itself is striking for its stark beauty, with a rugged windswept landscape that is great for walks and exploring. There is little in the way of amenities nearby, so bring your goodies with you!
