Sea Lions Caves
The Sea Lions Caves is located 11 miles north of Florence on the Oregon Coast, the largest sea caves in the US.
Before purchasing a ticket at the Gift Shop, check the live video feed to determine if the sea lions are in (or call ahead before you make the trip). You will then take an elevator down 13 stories to the caves. Once inside the caves you will be greeted by the deafening sound of barking sea lions as they compete for a place on the rocks.

We went to coast for a daySubmitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Tue, 2012-04-24 09:17.
We went to coast for a day trip on April 15. It was a beautiful spring day with lots of sun and no wind. We decided to go to the Sea Lion Caves. We were not disappointed. The views were great, there were a few sea lions on the rocks, and many in the caves. The kids LOVED it. Will be sure to go again.
