Lost Lake

Lost Lake is located 2-hours east of Portland in the Mt Hood National Forest.  It’s a beautiful lake with unusually clear depths, and breathtaking views of Mt Hood across the water.  This is a truly secluded and peaceful place, and one of the most photographed lakes in Oregon. 

There is a 3.2-mile loop around the perimeter of the lake, and plenty of picnic tables near the water.  This area is perfect for swimming, hiking or biking.

Lost Lake Resort

The Lost Lake Resort has a general store, RV and camping grounds, and rustic cabins.  You can also hire a canoe, row boat or kayak from here.   No motorized boats are permitted.

Lost Lake Resort is open May to late October.
