We went to coast for a day trip on April 15. It was a beautiful spring day with lots of sun and no wind. We decided to go to the Sea Lion Caves. We were not disappointed. The views were great, there were a few sea lions on the rocks, and many in the caves. The kids LOVED it. Will be sure to go again.

Stop by the Pearl district for shopping, great cafes and hip clubs. The neighborhood is world famous for its architecture and unique, pedestrian friendly urban plan. The Pearl is located very close to downtown Portland, which has an abundance of cool cafes, shops and restaurants.

Beautiful Victorian styled town with great scenic views and a great number of B&Bs. I recommend stopping at the Columbia Maritime Museum. It is one of the best and most interesting museums I have ever been to.

Of all of my day trips from Seattle, this is my favorite. Enjoy the beautiful beach or stroll through the beautiful town. We stayed at the Inn at Cannon Beach, which I can't recommend highly enough. If you love art this is the place for you, with endless galleries and shops to indulge every artistic fancy.

We visited Aurora today and what a dissapointment. I am willing to pay a fair market value for items. I frequent antique stores and have a pretty good general idea of item values. Every store we visited was at least double what an average consumer would deem reasonable. Unless you want to pay $165.00 for a very average plant stand I would steer clear. On the upside, the local pup has great food and friendly staff.
